Casino de Spa - 1948 - 1958
From 1948 to 1958 M.J. Noach held yearly exhibitions in the "Salon Rose" of the Casino in the town of Spa, in the south of Belgium. These exhibitions lasted 2 to 3 months from June to September. As people were not used to travel, worked long hours six days a week, this was a way to reach new customers.
1948 BRUSSELS, PLACE ROGIER
In 1948 a store was opened on the Place Rogier in Brussels, near the North Station. The surface and stock increased considerably and nowadays people would call it a megastore. This is when the first label was made that guaranteed the carpet as handmade.
1948 - 1949
After the opening of the new store in Brussels, M.J. Noach went to the Belgian colony of Congo to hold exhibitions all over the country in order to reach the Belgian expats. Traveling to Congo with oriental carpets was a first and, at our knowledge, he was the only one who ever did it.
